Friday, in Berlin, Germany, a woman climbed into a Polar Bear exhibit and was attacked (nonetheless, during feeding time). She was bit in the back several times. Those around tossed her rescue rings and was hosited out of the water. She was sent to the hospital with severe injuries. No word on why she climbed in the exhibit, but will be charged with trespassing. The woman is lucky she is not killed. (ABC News)

That's an interesting article about the polar bears. It is very stupid of the lady to jump into where the polar bears, especially while they are eating. It does show though how easily they can be disturbed. I read the article on CNN and learned that she fell in again once more before she was finally rescued.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the lady's name will be released. If so, I assume she will be facing phone calls from the zoo. A possible lawsuit?
ReplyDeleteThat video was startling, and scary. I cant believe the bear attacked her, i guess captivity does not supress natural instinct.
